Overflow
When we hear overflow we think of a mess that will be needed to clean up or just to much of one thing. Now think of an overflow of God’s grace, Jesus’s love and the Holy Spirits gifts. That would not be a mess in our lives or even be to much. Think of how that would feel. The peace you would get. The desires that will be quenched.
Do you ask for that overflow? There have been times over the past month that I could see that not only have I felt that out pouring from heaven but got taken up in the over flow of everything that has been given and then some. It is not a constant overflow but when I have had it, it is over whelming and amazing. Ask God not only to fill you but keep filling you. When you keep that flow going you do not worry when it will evaporate. It will be constant.
When you have that overflow, those things around you will be washed away. All the pain, suffering, doubts, etc will be washed away. As God fills us He is getting rid of those troubles we are feeling. It cleans things up and we are able to see everything from the surface to the depth of our soul clearly. It makes things that are muddy, clear. We are then able to focus on all of ourselves and not just the surface of things. We see who we are in His eyes and not ours. It is important to see who we are in His eyes and not just ours. That overflow will purify our souls as well.
When our soul is overflowing with all things of God then it fills the body as well. We will be walking graces here on earth. This grace gives us the power to go and be Jesus’s hands and feet here on earth. We will be able to give ourselves more without those doubts and fears to get in the way. We get swept away and go with the flow.
You should pray to not only be filled but to have an overflow of the trinity. It is ok to ask for the blessings. Jesus tells us to ask.
“And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” ~ Luke 11:9-10
